Creative Thinking & EYFS Friendly Sessions

We know that young ones don’t want to sit still for hours listening to long lists of big words & numbers!

Our Victorian Workshops include artefacts to touch, games to play, videos to see and movement to help engage all of their senses and bring the Victorian era to life!

Handling Artefacts

Your class will have the opportunity to touch, hold & handle different artefacts & items

In a single Standard Session our core content will be covered
& your pupils being able to briefly touch a range of artefacts

If you opt for Spectacular Sessions or book any timetable that goes over two hours the children will also be able to split into groups and handle a range of artefacts, draw them and write about them

A full day with one group? That’s the very best we can offer, and allows everything mentioned above plus an extra session of studying fragile artefacts up close, being able to write about and draw them and then finishing the day off with an extra topic related activity based on the children’s attention span & interest

"Our Victorian Workshop was brilliant! The children were completely engaged and enthusiastic throughout the session. They were fascinated by all of the artefacts, asking many, many questions. The facilitator had a friendly and authoritative presence in the room with the ability to converse with all pupils. The workshop is well worth having, bringing a difficult subject to life and making it relevant to today's very different world. Thank you Dan, Emily and the Dan Tastic Education Team!"

Excellent Victorian Wow Day! The children had an amazing hands on experience. I even heard some of the children say "It was the best day of their lives" and the best one was " This has been the best day because we haven't done any work!" I would highly recommend Dan Tastic Education and I know we will be using their services again in the future. Thank you!
